got shot

back to my back again.
went to the new doc today and after his eval, decided to try some steroid (cortisone) shots into my back. my back and neck are hurting, the neck being the worse. but he decided on trying the back first to see if it responds. so after some poking around, he found 2 place to stick me and each spot got 3-4 shots each.
the first was my middle back. damn, i could feel it all the way into my shoulder; he said it was the same muscle. those shots were killers.
the next ones were lower left back and weren't as horrible. in that i mean the pain stayed there.
these shots...he'd stick the needle in and just as it hit the muscle, he'd ask "does that hurt there?" well of course it hurt, he was stabbing me with a needle. but after the first ones, i understood what he was asking. some didn't hurt as much as others.
so, after this was done and i got him to fill out the 3M med sheet (all doctors hate that thing) i was on my way. my dad drove me and i have to say that was a good idea as i was feeling pretty high by the time we got to his car.

the rest of the day wasn't too horrible on pain. little more so that normal and i obviously don't have enough ice packs, but i was surviving...just bored
